An eventful year lies behind us: in 2023, we provided medical treatment and care to over 2,500 sick or injured children in Cambodia every day, built a ward block for the overcrowded maternity centre in Siem Reap and opened a new cancer ward in Phnom Penh. We are starting 2024 with a concert, to which the Foundation Board cordially invites you:
Saturday, 27 January 2024 at 6 pmat the Grossmünster, Zwingliplatz 7 in Zurich
Andreas Jost (organ) and Jonas Kreienbühl (cello) will play pieces by Johann Sebastian Bach for us - as a reference and homage to the favourite composer of our founder Dr Beat Richner. After a welcoming address by Pastor Christoph Sigrist, Philip Robinson, President of the Foundation Board, reviews his last visit to the children's hospitals and provides information about upcoming projects. In a second part, Jean-Claude Fauchère, neonatologist in Zurich, will outline the development of neonatal medicine in recent years and the nationwide lighthouse function of the Kantha Bopha hospitals.
Admission to the concert is free, registration is not necessary. A collection will be taken afterwards in aid of the children's hospitals in Cambodia.

The upcoming Bach concert at the Grossmünster feels like a rare chance to experience timeless music in a historic setting, where the architecture itself amplifies the beauty of the performance. Events like this remind us how culture and tradition can merge to create something unforgettable. That harmony between precision and flow is much like Slope game, where staying sharp and balanced is the only way to keep moving forward through constant twists and turns.
In Build Now GG, I joined a match where I challenged myself to win without relying on high ground. Finding creative ways to outplay opponents was surprisingly fun.
